ABOUT
US
Paragon is a recognized industry leader in soil and
environmental issues. The firm has extensive knowledge of regulatory
requirements and maintains a productive relationship with regulators and
clients alike. Our president has developed land capability systems that
have been adopted as the standard for guiding reclamation practices in
Alberta, providing a common platform for interaction between regulators
and industry.
Paragon often engages in cooperative efforts with
consultants in complementary fields like hydrology and wildlife that
allow the firm to provide complete, quality service. Our in-house
Occupational Health & Safety committee ensures that safe work practices
are communicated to employees and instilled in day-to-day operations. We
take pride in safe work and are vigilant in maintaining our excellent
safety record.
OUR
HISTORY
Paragon's president, Leonard Leskiw, started
consulting in 1975, in Edmonton, Alberta. The combined experience of
Leonard and other employees covers projects across Canada, and
internationally, including Barbados, Indonesia, Ghana, U.S.A., Egypt,
Nigeria, Sri Lanka, El Salvador, and Nepal.
Our experience includes all scales of projects, from
individual landowner surveys, to major environmental impact assessments,
to multi-year management and research initiatives.
Paragon employees have provided input to the
development of many of Alberta's major industrial developments, and have
been key players in numerous agricultural projects. We continue to
develop forward-looking approaches to environmental issues and superior
methods to deliver our services.
Paragon supports environmental charity efforts,
including an orphanage program in El Salvador and the Branches of Life
Society.
