Paragon Soil and Environmental Consulting has received the Certificate of Recognition for safety excellence though the Alberta Construction Safety Association and Alberta Human Resources and Employment. In addition, our company is registered in WCB's Partners in Injury Reduction (PIR) program. Paragon is dedicated to ensuring our program is continually reviewed and revised.  

Paragon's Health and Safety program includes:  

• Staff participation
• Internal and external training in relevant topics
• Personal protective equipment
• Hazard identification
• Investigation of all incidents and near misses
• Regular safety meetings
• Formal safety inspections of work sites
• Annual review of program and audit

Paragon Soil and Environmental Consulting is committed to a health and safety program that protects our staff, contractors, visitors, our property and other workers who enter onto our property, the environment, and the general public.  

Employees at every level are responsible and accountable for Paragon’s health and safety performance. Active participation by everyone, everyday, in every job is necessary to the safety excellence this company expects.  

Management will provide a positive example and show leadership in the health and safety program, and will provide a health and safety policy, safe work practices, and proper equipment and training. Employees are responsible for following all company regulations and procedures, working with an awareness of health and safety and fostering cooperation while working towards improved health and safety conditions in the workplace.  

Employees, contractors and suppliers at every level must comply with the requirements of Alberta Workplace Health and Safety legislation and other appropriate legislation as it relates to our work processes.
